Whether you’re looking to update your entire home or just want to add a few new accents, these 2023 interior design trends are sure to inspire.
1. Thoughtful Touches Of Bold Colors (Replacing: All-Grey Interiors)
Using splashes of color in interior design can be a great way to add visual interest and personality to a space. Bold colors can be used as accents to add pops of color to a neutral color scheme, or they can be incorporated more extensively for a more vibrant and dramatic look. 3. Art Deco & Nostalgic Design (Replacing: Ultra-Modern Minimalism)
A big trend that gained popularity in 2022 and is anticipated to continue into the new year is nostalgic home design and Art Deco inspiration.
Nostalgic home design refers to a style that is inspired by past eras and incorporates vintage or antique elements into the design. This can include using vintage furniture, reproductions of classic designs, and vintage-inspired decorative accents. Using this design principle can help to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, and can be a way to incorporate personal history (hence the “nostalgia”) and unique elements into the home.
Art Deco fits under this umbrella and was a style that gained popularity in the 1920s and 1930s. It is characterized by bold geometric shapes, rich colors, and luxurious materials. It can be incorporated into the home through strategic use of patterns, metallic accents, and geometric shapes in items such as furniture, lighting, and decorative accessories.
